GABRIELLA KINGSLEY
Gabriella Kingsley has built a strong reputation for creating engaging, performance-driven work across the worlds of music and commercial film.
Born and raised in London, Gabriella comes from a mixed-heritage background. Her cultural perspective informs both her creative process and storytelling, often drawing on her own experiences to shape distinctive and authentic ideas.
Her music videos have taken her around the world, working with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Ed Sheeran, Akon, ArrDee and Aitch. She has also made a confident transition into the commercial space, directing campaigns for brands such as Activia featuring Rachel Stevens, Gordon’s Gin featuring Maya Jama, and Waitrose featuring Chesney Hawkes.
In addition to her directing work, Gabriella is frequently invited to creatively consult for brands seeking cultural relevance and authenticity. As a self-taught director who rose from a grassroots level, she is passionate about mentoring the next generation of talent. In 2023, she launched Date Night, an initiative designed to inspire and support emerging creatives by providing networking opportunities and pathways into the industry.
Gabriella is also regularly invited to speak on industry panels and has mentored for major platforms and brands including BBC’s Rap Game and SBTV’s Jamal Edwards x Adobe mentoring programme, Perspective Is Everything.
